IN OUR editorial opinion yesterday, we pointed out how the government was clinging to a silly excuse for the imminent late delivery of fertilizer, a crucial input for our farmers. Despite numerous assurances that the New Dawn administration would get rid of short cuts, evidence has been brought to the fore that irregularities and lack of transparency are still affecting government’s quality delivery of services. Today, we would like to add and specifically warn the New Dawn regime that they are playing with fire when it comes to the agriculture sector.
