IN THE past few days, President Hakainde Hichilema has taken quite a bashing on social media over Zesco’s implementation of the 12 hours load shedding. Citizens are reminding him of the things that he promised during campaigns, which he is now seemingly struggling to deliver. At one point someone wrote on the President’s page during campaigns, warning him not to give people excuses for failing to deliver on the promises once elected into office, as previous regimes had done. In response, Mr Hichilema said “we were cut from a different cloth”. Quite hilarious, and of course the opposition are having a field day roasting the President, calling him a shameless liar.
