AHEAD of the Summit for Democracy coming up in a week’s time, Law Association of Zambia (LAZ) president Lungisani Zulu says the country should look into increasing space for people to enjoy their freedoms and liberties. Mr Zulu says the country has scored some progress in upholding democratic tenets, but observed that there are still some areas that need improvement. He contends that the freedom of expression and other freedoms were tailored in such a way that the wishes of the people must be outrightly heard.
