MINISTER of Small and Medium Enterprises Development Elias Mubanga says government has given his ministry about K400 million for various empowerment programmes for this year. In an interview, Tuesday, Mubanga said the said allocation had seen the Citizens Economic Empowerment Commission (CEEC) develop other empowerment products, among them the transport category. “This year, government has given almost K400 million for empowerment programmes and that is why you have seen the institution, rather, the commission CEEC, they have already developed those products.
