UPND member Wise Lukwesa has denied stealing 156 bags of D Compound and Urea fertiliser, saying he bought the commodity from stranded FISP beneficiaries using his CDF loan. On Tuesday, Lukwesa, who is UPND Kasama security wing Chairman, was reported to be on the run after allegedly stealing 156x50Kg bags of D Compound and Urea fertiliser. But UPND Northern Province Provincial Chairperson Victor Sinkala distanced the party from the fracas, asking police to arrest any perpetrators.
