IT’S been over two months since Senseli Mine in Chingola collapsed and trapped over 30 people, recognised as ‘illegal miners’. Although the actual number of miners who are dead underground remains unknown, the rescue team was only able to retrieve a small number of them with only one coming out alive. As rescue efforts toned down, another accident happened at the same mine, trapping one miner and killing him instantly.
