PRESIDENT Hakainde Hichilema has encouraged business people in the country to invest in power generation, saying there is a ready market for them in the energy sector. The President has also congratulated the Copperbelt Energy Corporation (CEC) for completing the 60-megawatt Itimpi Solar Plant in Kitwe, asserting that the investment will contribute to the national economic development agenda. Meanwhile, CEC Board Chairman London Mwafulilwa has disclosed that the firm invested over US$53 million in the construction of the plant.
