ENERGY Expert Johnstone Chikwanda has expressed confidence that local manufacturers can meet the national demand for armoured and electric cables. Last week, President Hakainde Hichilema said all armoured and electric cables must be locally produced in order to contribute to job creation. “As I was saying in the morning, chairman Mwafulilwa very soon we will be dictating that whoever is buying an armoured cable, whoever is buying an electric cable, they will not be allowed to import them very soon.
