IN our editorial comment yesterday, we pointed out that it is a waste of time for the UPND to block former president Edgar Lungu’s aimless movements. Following the embarrassing Kabwe Parish incident where the police stormed a Bishop’s office to stop Mr Lungu’s courtesy call on the church, we warned that the more they try to stop him, the more they make him relevant and noticeable. We know that Mr Lungu is mobilizing and campaigning; and there has to be a clever way of managing the public space to avoid plunging the country into an uncontrolled early campaign mode.
