CHIEF Government Spokesperson Cornelius Mweetwa says government is not rushing the constitutional amendment process, reminding the public that the UPND had promised in 2016 to amend the Constitution once in power. Mweetwa, who is also a lawyer, has further expressed concern that the Law Association of Zambia (LAZ), unlike during the time of Bill 10, has failed to consult its members before issuing its position on Bill 7.
