THE Resident Doctors Association of Zambia (RDAZ) says it will proceed with its decision to down tools unless government shows commitment to the pronouncements it made regarding the recruitment of doctors. On Tuesday, Health Minister Dr Elijah Muchima urged doctors to return to the negotiation table to review employment issues. This appeal followed the Association’s announcement that volunteer doctors would down tools starting December 19.
