GOVERNMENT says the El Niño induced drought in the 2026/2027 farming season may affect the medium-term economic outlook, constraining fiscal space and slowing implementation of programmes. Cabinet, however, has agreed to proactively implement measures that will mitigate eventualities which could affect the implementation of the ‘Grow Zambia Agenda’.
