PPRESIDENT Hakainde Hichilema says Zambia remains a peaceful and sovereign nation, citing the calm atmosphere that prevailed before, during and after the election. President Hichilema says Zambia has shown that political differences that come with a democratic election must be managed peacefully through legal institutions. Speaking during the general debate at the ongoing 81st United Nations General Assembly, Saturday, President Hichilema said disputes must never degenerate into violence or militia activity.
