THE Drug Enforcement Commission (DEC) says the renewed summoning of Archbishop Alick Banda is part of investigations involving a Toyota Hilux believed to have been unlawfully obtained. DEC says as Archbishop Banda appears before law enforcement agencies today, only his lawyers and persons directly connected to the matter will be permitted to accompany him. On December 31, 2025, DEC summoned Archbishop Banda to appear on January 5, 2026 at DEC headquarters for questioning over his possession of a Hilux obtained from ZRA.
