GOVERNMENT says it is spending a minimum of about K1 million per week to address the Contagious Bovine Pleuropneumonia (CBPP) outbreak, a disease that affects cattle, disclosing that so far, close to K4 million has been spent. And government has extended the slaughtering of the affected 10,120 cattle for another two weeks, while the ban on the movement of live cattle from Chisamba and Chibombo remains in effect.
