GREEN Economy and Environment Minister Collins Nzovu has accused Feira PF MP Emmanuel Tembo of misleading people on the issue of allowing mining activities in the Lower Zambezi. On Tuesday, government disclosed that it had upheld the Zambia Environmental Management Agency’s decision to cancel the decision letter issued to Mwembeshi Resources Limited to conduct mining activities in the Lower Zambezi. In response, Tembo said the people of Luangwa did not support government’s position because they wanted a mine in the area.
