MIKA Meats proprietor Stephen Mikalile says despite the initial decline experienced in the demand for beef products, Mika Meats is now witnessing an increase in beef demand to levels prior to the anthrax outbreak. Responding to a press query, Mikalile commended government for the quick steps taken to contain and prevent the spread of anthrax. “When news of anthrax broke; our outlets experienced a surge in the demand for chicken and fish.
