PAC president Andyford Banda has wondered why government is failing to release details for International Resources Holdings (IHR), an Abu Dhabi firm it engaged to develop Mopani Copper Mines. Banda is concerned that the firm in question is registered as a restricted company, and has no experience with mining. Last week, Mines and Minerals Development Minister Paul Kabuswe said IHR of Abu Dhabi was a well capacitated company, and he believed that government, working with the firm, would develop Mopani Copper Mines.
