ERB Board Chairperson Reynolds Bowa says he did not attend the Friday meeting which resolved to suspend his Director General, Yohane Mukabe. Bowa, who has confirmed the suspension of Mukabe and a vote of no confidence against him, says he cannot comment beyond that because “the decision lies outside of my hands”. News Diggers reported on Saturday that the Energy Regulation Board had sent its Director General, Mukabe, on forced leave after it emerged that the recent approval of Zesco tariff increment was done without full consultation and prior notice to the government.
