THE Zambezi River Authority (ZRA) has disclosed that recession in the lake levels at Kariba Dam has persisted from the last update of 10th April 2024. ZRA Chief Executive Munyaradzi Munodawafa has revealed that the Zambezi River flows at Victoria Falls are increasing but insignificantly. In a statement, Wednesday, Munodawafa attributed the continued recession at Kariba to low inflow and reduced rainfall activity on and around the lake and in its catchment. “Kariba lake levels – the recession in the lake levels has also persisted from the last update of 10th April 2024.
