THE International Monetary Fund (IMF) has approved the fourth review of Zambia’s 38-month Extended Credit Facility (ECF) arrangement, triggering an immediate disbursement of US$184 million (K5.1 billion). And IMF Resident Representative in Zambia Eric Lautier says Zambia continues to make good progress towards economic stability despite a historic drought that caused a significant contraction in the agriculture sector in 2024.
