Striker Patson Daka and midfielder Enock Mwepu prepared to head for Zambia duty on a high after leading Austrian club FC Liefering to victory on Friday night.

Daka and Mwepu scored a goal each in the Austrian 2nd division clubs’ 4-2 away victory over A.Lustenau.

Daka, who was playing his second game back from a one-month injury layoff, equalised for Liefering in the 34th minute after Lustenau had taken a 6th minute lead.

The goal was Daka’s third league goal for the club and the equaliser came courtesy of an assist from Mwepu.

Mwepu then found the target with Liefering’s third in the 77th minute to record his 6th goal of the season.

Daka and Mwepu were substituted in the 63rd and 77th minute respectively after a good day at the office.

Liefering stay 4th despite the win over their 6th placed hosts on 30points.

But they are now three points behind leaders Ried from 17 matches played in the Austrian 2nd division.

Meanwhile, Mwepu and Daka now heading to Ndola this weekend to join the Zambia camp there ahead of the November 11 home date against Cameroon in the two sides final 2018 FIFA World Cup Group B qualifier at Levy Mwanawasa Stadium.
