THERE was drama at Lusaka’s Woodlands Police Station yesterday when two Democratic Party factions which are led by Harry Kalaba and Judith Kabemba clashed. The confusion began after Kabemba and DP spokesperson Justine Nkonge arrived at the police station in order to report a matter, only to hear that Kalaba had reported her for hate speech. Alex Chikankatika, who belongs to Kalaba’s faction, attempted to block Kabemba and Nkonge from proceeding into the station, alleging that they were only there because they had gotten wind of Kalaba’s report.
