PRESIDENTIAL Spokesperson Anthony Bwalya says President Hakainde Hichilema was properly advised to visit the people of Kabushi and Kwacha constituencies, whether there was a pending court decision or not. And Bwalya says the President acted within the law by suspending Director of Public Prosecutions Lilian Siyunyi, adding that it is his job and responsibility to act on that which might compromise the fight against corruption. Meanwhile, Bwalya says President Hichilema called his Kenyan counterpart, William Ruto, to congratulate him, despite missing his inauguration.
