STATEHOUSE Chief Communications Specialist Clayson Hamasaka says government has been conducting nationwide checks to assess progress in the payment of farmers for crops supplied during the last farming season. Hamasaka says reports from the field further indicate that payments are indeed reaching farmers, although the process has been slower in some instances.
