THE UPND on Thursday concluded its general assembly, electing 70 new members from 158 contenders to its National Management Committee for the 2026–2031 term. Among the 70 members elected to the Committee, six have emerged on top with Collins Maoma securing 2,472 votes, Mutale Nalumango 2,393, Peter Kapala 2,351, Elvis Nkandu 2,330, Jack Mwiimbu 2,328, and Sylvia Masebo 2,313.
