GOVERNMENT has announced the postponement of the RightsCon Global Summit 2026, owing to the lack of full disclosure of what would be discussed at the conference and lack of security clearance on some delegates. However, well-placed sources have told News Diggers! that the Summit has actually been cancelled because the programme involves Taiwanese delegates who would potentially speak against China at a venue donated by the Chinese government. At around 22:30 hours last night, the RightsCon secretariat also confirmed that the global conference would not proceed in Zambia and advised international deletes not to take their flights to Lusaka.
