FRED M’membe’s Socialist Party (SP) and Chanda Katotobwe’s PeP yesterday successfully presented 100 presidential supporters before the Electoral Commission of Zambia (ECZ) for the pre-processing exercise in Lusaka. However, only four out of the five political parties that were scheduled to undergo the pre-processing exercise successfully presented 100 presidential supporters, including the Leadership Movement led by Richard Silumbe and Kafula Mubanga-led Development People’s Party (DPP). Another party that was scheduled to undergo the pre-processing exercise was the Exodus Party for Peace and Prosperity (EPPP), led by Moses Mawere, which officially withdrew from the presidential race and instead joined Harry Kalaba under the Orange Alliance.
