THE Zambia Conference of Catholic Bishops (ZCCB) has expressed concern over the deployment of army officers in this year’s election. ZCCB president Archbishop Ignatius Chama says the visible presence of military personnel and vehicles at tallying centres, sends a troubling signal about the character of Zambia’s democracy.
