UPND Deputy Secretary General Getrude Imenda has challenged the Tonse Alliance to name the people they claim threatened their candidate in the Mandevu by-election. Imenda says the opposition must just withdraw from the election if they feel “weak”, instead of using the UPND’s name. On Thursday, Tonse Alliance Secretary General Muhabi Lungu claimed that the Alliance’s candidate, Daniel Chisenga, had been receiving constant threats from alleged UPND agents since filing his nomination.
