YESTERDAY we challenged the claim by Inspector General of Police Lemmy Kajoba who says he suspended criminal investigations because he was advised to wait for instructions from President Hakainde Hichilema. Our point of concern was that the Police Chief seemed comfortable justifying his actions, yet he was out of order. We have observed that a few people in pursuit of transparency are trying to insulate the Inspector General by suggesting that perhaps it’s true that he was given instructions by the President’s advisor.
