MINISTER of Technology and Science Felix Mutati says the Zambia Information and Communications Technology Authority (ZICTA) has deactivated 2.1 million sim cards after it was detected that they were being used as instruments to perpetrate fraud. Speaking during a media briefing, Wednesday, Mutati said 817 mobile operators including 90 law enforcement officers had been trained in issues relating to fraud. “On the flip side of the coin, they (citizens) are concerned about fraud in the sector.
