THE Lusaka Magistrates’ Court has ordered Emmanuel Mwamba’s two sureties to forfeit the K10,000 they had promised to pay in the event he failed to appear before court. Boniface Bwalya Chibeka and Boniface Bwalya Chipasha have been ordered to pay the money they signed for Mwamba’s bond, in default two weeks imprisonment. This follows their failure to present Mwamba before court despite a bench warrant issued against him by Magistrate Amy Chilangwa. In this matter, Mwamba is charged with Jacquiline Chopa, a politician of Matero, Gideon Tolopa, a business executive of Emmasdale and Gift Kachingwe, a business executive of Chongwe.
