THE Economic and Financial Crimes Court, High Court Division, has refused to grant Faith Musonda leave to appeal its judgement which forfeited her properties to the state. High Court Judge Susan Wanjelani stated that Musonda’s grounds of appeal showed no realistic prospects of succeeding. In December last year, the High Court ordered that Musonda’s properties, which include houses in Ibex Hill, Kingsland City, a farm in Chisamba, money, among others, be forfeited to the State. Following the court’s judgement, Musonda made an application for leave to appeal the said judgement of the High Court in the Court of Appeal.
