LUSAKA lawyer Germano Kaulung’ombe and another have sued the state in the Lusaka High Court, demanding damages for malicious prosecution, wrongful arrest, and false imprisonment in the sum of K110,000,000. Kaulung’ombe of Marshall Chambers and Stanley Tembo, a politician and legal assistant under the firm, also want a refund of K9,800,000, being legal expenses they incurred to defend against the malicious prosecution. The duo further want damages for loss of business to be assessed by the court, costs and any other reliefs the court may deem fit.
