Super league side Zanaco FC will clash this Wednesday against South African side Mamelodi Sundows in a friendly match at Sunset Stadium in Lusaka

An official statement from Zanaco confirmed the development adding that the move was part of preparations for the 2019/2020 season which commences in August.

“Zanaco Football Club will this Wednesday the 24th July host Mamelodi Sundows FC of South Africa🇿🇦 in an international club friendly match at Sunset Stadium in Lusaka, Zambia. This is part of the preparation for the 2019/20 football season,” read a statement.

Zanaco is currently on standby in the preliminary round of the CAF confederations cup awaiting to join the second round of qualification where they will play either Mauritius’ Bolton CYC or Jwaneng Galaxy Football Club of Botswana.

The preliminary stage will take place on 11-13 August with the return leg set for 23-25 August. The first leg matches for the second round will take place on 15-17 September while the second leg matches are set for 27-29 September.
