Police in Lusaka have asked Prime TV to avail them with footage of Lusaka lawyer Kelvin Bwalya Fube’s book launch where he allegedly proposed violence.

In a letter to Prime TV’s editor-in-chief dated April 26, Lusaka urban deputy criminal investigations officer M. Chikuba asked Prime TV to surrender the video footage to facilitate investigations.

“This office is carrying investigations into the alleged offense of proposing violence in respect of the launch of the book which was carried by the prominent Lusaka lawyer Mr Kelvin Bwalya Fube on 22nd April 2019. In order to spearhead our inquiries in this regard, we are requesting for the video recording that your media house covered on the material day. Your usual cooperation will be highly appreciated,” wrote Chikuba.
