VICE-PRESIDENT Mutale Nalumango says she needs to find out what has caused the delay to ratify the appointment of Gilbert Phiri as Director of Public Prosecutions. In October this year, President Hakainde Hichilema removed Lilian Siyunyi from the office of DPP and appointed ACC director general Gilbert Phiri to head that office, subject to ratification by the National Assembly. However, during the Vice-President’s question time in Parliament, Friday, Nalolo PNUP member of parliament Wamunyima Imanga wanted to find out what had delayed the ratification of Phiri as DPP.
