A 2-YEAR-OLD child of Luanshya’s Mpatamato township has died after the house he was sleeping in caught fire. According to Copperbelt Police Commanding Officer Peacewell Mweemba, the child’s mother reported that her child sustained some burns all over his body. He said the incident occurred when the woman who sells tomatoes by the roadside briefly left home to go and check on the tomatoes, leaving her son sleeping. “Kindly be informed that Mpatamatu Police Station has received a report of fire incident [which] occurred on 23/08/23 at 12:00hours at house No. 502/27 Mpatamato, Luanshya.
