MINISTER of Health Sylvia Masebo says Lusaka District is witnessing a reduction in cholera cases in recent days. However, she has revealed that the disease claimed 11 lives in the last 24 hours, including two children under the age of five. Despite the fatalities, Masebo says her ministry is making steady progress in protecting citizens through oral cholera vaccines. Giving a cholera update, Friday, Masebo highlighted that Lusaka Province, which experienced the highest impact, had documented 314 new cases. “Lusaka Province, which is the most affected province, has recorded 314 cases in the past 24 hours.
