ZAMBIA Medical Association (ZMA) president Dr Kaumba Tolopu says the association is alive to the fact that there are some unscrupulous business practices being perpetrated by those whose only focus is profit, and not the greater good of the country. And Dr Tolopu has welcomed government’s decision to suspend the accreditation of private hospitals, saying NHIMA isn’t meant to make them rich. Meanwhile, Dr Tolopu has cautioned the Ministry of Health not to use National Health Insurance Management Authority (NHIMA) funds for other functions in the ministry.
