THE Siavonga Subordinate Court has convicted and sentenced a police officer to 12 months’ imprisonment with hard labour, for corruption involving K800.00. Anti-Corruption Commission Head – Corporate Communications Joseph Mwenya said Francis Chisala, being a public officer, corruptly obtained K800 from Jeremiah Donkan Phiri, as an inducement not to charge him with a traffic offence.
