STATE House Chief Communications Specialist Clayson Hamasaka says he does not think the “few” individuals protesting at the United Nations Headquarters in New York are Zambians. Videos circulating on social media show few individuals claiming to be Zambians living in the diaspora, protesting outside the United Nations, calling for urgent international action, over what they describe as a deterioration in human rights in Zambia. The individuals also went to the Zambian Embassy, in an attempt to meet Foreign Affairs Minister Mulambo Haimbe, who is representing President Hakainde Hichilema the United Nations General Assembly.
