CASHFIN Zambia Limited has sued Konkola Copper Mines (KCM) in the Lusaka High Court, demanding US$6,670,481.90 as the outstanding balance for petroleum goods supplied. The company is also seeking payment of US$1,652,009.48 for an outstanding tax liability, as well as interest on all sums found due and owing. In a statement of claim filed by Messrs J and M Advocates, Cashfin Zambia Limited stated that it had entered into an agreement with KCM to supply petroleum products worth $9,194,221.39.
