A CONSORTIUM of Civil Society Organizations (CSOs) has raised concern over reports of missing ballot papers during the suspension of vote counting and announcement on Friday. Meanwhile, LCK Freedom Foundation Executive Director Linda Kasonde says there are several factors that appear to point towards the position that the 2026 election has not been free and fair. On Friday, the Electoral Commission of Zambia suspended vote counting and announcement countrywide, following pockets of violence recorded, leading to the death of a polling staff in Matero Constitunency.
