MINISTER of Transport and Logistics Frank Tayali says Zambia Airways is currently facing challenges in acquiring the necessary permit operate on the South African route. Zambia Airways’ international flight to South Africa was supposed to launch on 1st July, 2022 but was postponed to a later date. In an interview, Tayali said the airline was ready to fly to South Africa but authorities from that country were a stumbling block in terms issuing a landing permit to the airline. “We do know that for now their operations have received massive, massive support from the citizens.
