ZAMBIA and the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC) have agreed to establish a bipartite commission responsible for examining the issues related to the importation of lime, gray cement and clinker into the DRC. The two countries have also decided to establish a bipartisan commission to evaluate the implementation of their Bilateral Trade Agreement. The two countries signed a communiqué at the end of talks between officials from DRC and Zambia in Lubumbashi on Monday, which led to the opening of Zambia’s borders with the DRC yesterday.
