UPND losing candidates for Matero and Kamfinsa constituencies have challenged the High Court’s decision to uphold the election of PF’s Miles Sampa and Christopher Kang’ombe, respectively. According to a memorandum of appeal filed in the Constitutional Court, Matero UPND losing candidate Tom Michelo has argued that the court erred in both law and fact when it dismissed the petition despite providing evidence which linked Sampa to electoral offences and misconduct.
