FISHERIES and Livestock Minister Makozo Chikote has told the High Court that his remarks that he would recommend for the suspension of his former PS Annie Songolo and other officers involved in the illegal transportation of livestock from Western Province was made in good faith during the performance of his duties. Chikote says he will prove, at trial, that the Office of the PS in his ministry violated the provisions of the law when it sanctioned the movement of livestock from Western Province despite a ban.
