FIVE Nigerian nationals have told the Economic and Financial Crimes Court that they have been heavily affected by the seizure of their trading accounts by DEC which act as depositories for various third-party clients. The Nigerian nationals have submitted that their businesses are legitimately registered in Nigeria and that their main business there involves trading of foreign currency. They add that they receive bulk funds in Naira and buy foreign currencies for different companies including Copperbelt Energy, Multi Choice and many more.
